If you enjoy spending time in nature, then Yosemite National Park is your paradise. The national park that started the national park movement and draws 5 million visitors per year is ours to explore over three adventure filled days. We will see up close and personal iconic treasures like Half Dome, El Capitan, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls, and Glacier Point. This is a once in a lifetime trip you do not want to miss out on.

On day one we will set out on the mist trail that goes by two of the best waterfalls in Yosemite. First we'll climb the rocks to the top of Vernal Falls (pictured above). Then we'll hike towards the bigger and stronger Nevada Falls. This is the most popular hike in Yosemite for a reason. It offers the most epic views of the waterfalls.

We'll end the day with a hike towards Glacier Point, one of the most awe-inspiring views in all of Yosemite. You will see Half Dome and the rest of Yosemite Valley that was carved out by enormous glaciers tens of thousands of years ago. Take your time and enjoy the panoramic view of Yosemite and the surrounding mountains.

Day two will bring us into the giant redwoods inside the Mariposa Grove. This grove had been closed for 2 years because of renovations and was reopened 2 years ago. Now we'll get to enjoy these majestic giants on brand new trails and a new visitors center.

On day three we'll explore Yosemite Valley and the many picnic areas, vista points, and drop dead gorgeous views of Yosemite. You will feel like three days is not nearly enough to truly enjoy all the beauty of Yosemite.

Are we camping for three nights? Nope! We are staying at a lovely 3 bedroom house that is located inside Yosemite National Park. That means we can avoid that 1-2 hour commute in and out of the park each day of our visit. We'll be just minutes to all the main attractions!

The house is very spacious and has room for 10 people, so we'll be more than comfortable. It has a large wrap around deck that sits beside Chilnualna Falls Creek, which flows from the Lower Chilnualna Falls, which we can hike to from our cabin. An outdoor hot tub and gas grill with patio furniture are also provided on the deck.
