We’re heading into the mountains for Thanksgiving! Join us as we eat a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal and explore all that Lake Tahoe has to offer over the 4 day holiday weekend. (Video Link)

We’ll spend Thanksgiving day as a family would. We’ll play some games, watch football, play darts, and cook up a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes and gravy… it’ll all be there!

Even with the unknown availability of this year's ski season especially to non-pass holders, there will still be so many other things to do. We can head up to Northstar where there’s a ton of cute little shops and stores at the base to check out. Snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, you can even roast marshmallows from the cozy fire pits in the Village!

Or we can check out Squaw Valley and snowshoe through their snowy meadow and designated trail system. You cake a trip back in time and learn about the 1960 Winter Olympics that took place at Squaw Valley. You can even go on an hour long dog sledding tour/trek through the valley!

When we're not out exploring the Tahoe area, we will relax back at our amazing 3 bedroom house. There's a large kitchen and family room, complete with a great fireplace. This is where the karaoke and the dance parties will happen.

The hot tub is on the back patio for easy access. We will chill in it and soak away our stress from the day while enjoying the beautiful views of nature.

With all the fun activities around Lake Tahoe, this is sure to be an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend. This trip will sell out quickly so book your spot today!

The Plan

Wednesday: Carpool to Tahoe and arrive at our ski house. Settle in with a welcome drink and snacks. Meet everyone else on the trip. A light meal will be served. Celebrate the start of our holiday weekend!

Thursday: Breakfast at the house. Play games like Monikers, Codenames, and Taboo. Watch Thanksgiving football (optional). Make Thanksgiving together like a family. Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, yams, biscuits, and pie. Hot tub. After dinner drinking games. Karaoke party where we sing our favorite songs!

Friday: Breakfast at the house. Skiing/snowboarding or other snow sports (if it's available and there's snow). Hiking around Lake Tahoe (if no snow). Hot tub & relax at the house.
