We'll be exploring breathtaking views of SF from Glen Canyon Park to Twin Peaks!

Beyond the Glen Canyon Park Recreation Center lies a large urban canyon that has incredible spring wildflower displays, dramatic rock (chert) formations, and Islais Creek, one of the few remaining free-flowing creeks in San Francisco. This 60 acres of wilderness not only provides critical habitat for a wide array of wildlife, but serves as a relaxing sanctuary from the city’s urban bustle. An extensive network of hiking trails leads through a variety of habitats.

Glen Canyon to Twin Peaks is a 3.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Let's hike!
